Master’s work. One-of-a-kind piece

Each knife is handcrafted by a Yakut master and is truly unique. Minor variations in appearance are a natural hallmark of genuine handwork

The Toyon — meaning “lord” or “chief” in the Sakha language — is a handmade Yakut knife that commands presence and respect. Its blade is forged from 40Kh13 stainless steel, a chromium-rich alloy chosen for its excellent corrosion resistance and ability to hold a keen edge through extended use. The handle is shaped from Karelian birch, prized across Northern Europe and Siberia for its distinctive marbled grain and exceptional durability. A mountain ram horn bolster adds structural reinforcement at the junction of blade and handle, while lending an unmistakable wild elegance.

This Yakut knife is equally at home in the field and in a collector’s display. Whether you need a reliable companion for hunting, bushcraft, or preparing game and fish, the Toyon delivers precision and control. The traditional leather sheath with a wooden insert protects the blade and allows safe carry. A true embodiment of centuries-old Yakut knifemaking tradition.
