Master’s work. One-of-a-kind piece

Each knife is handcrafted by a Yakut master and is truly unique. Minor variations in appearance are a natural hallmark of genuine handwork

The Ancestral Blade is a rare left-handed handmade Yakut knife — a mirror-forged version of the traditional design with the asymmetric grind on the opposite side, purpose-built for left-handed users. Traditional Yakut knives feature a distinctive single-bevel blade geometry: one side is flat while the other has a concave fuller (dol). In this left-handed edition, the blade geometry is reversed so that left-handed users enjoy the same natural cutting ergonomics and control that right-handed users have always had.

The 40Kh13 stainless steel blade provides reliable corrosion resistance and easy field sharpening. Both the handle and bolster are crafted from Karelian birch, creating a seamless, flowing visual line from guard to pommel — warm golden tones and mesmerizing burl figuring throughout. This Yakut knife is an excellent choice for left-handed hunters, outdoorsmen, chefs, and collectors who value both functionality and authentic Sakha craftsmanship.
