Master’s work. One-of-a-kind piece
Each knife is handcrafted by a Yakut master and is truly unique. Minor variations in appearance are a natural hallmark of genuine handwork
The Wolf Trail is a handmade Yakut knife bearing a distinctive forged wolf-track pattern on its 40Kh13 stainless steel blade — a tribute to the wolves that roam the vast Yakutian taiga. The 40Kh13 alloy offers a balanced combination of hardness, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening, making it an ideal steel for both fieldwork and everyday carry. The slightly thicker spine (3–3.5 mm) provides extra rigidity for demanding tasks like batoning and splitting kindling.
Karelian birch — renowned for its swirling, almost hypnotic grain — forms the handle, giving each piece a look that is impossible to replicate. The mountain ram horn bolster anchors the blade securely and adds a natural contrast to the warm birch tones. Whether used for hunting preparation, camp cooking, or bushcraft, this Yakut knife offers the perfect marriage of Sakha heritage and practical performance.
