We want every MUUS knife to be exactly what you expected. If it is not, here is how returns work.
Return Window
14 days from confirmed delivery. After 14 days we can no longer accept returns for change-of-mind reasons, but warranty coverage continues for manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery.
Eligible Returns
- Unused knife in original condition — blade not sharpened, handle not modified, sheath intact.
- Arrived damaged or defective — photograph the packaging and damage immediately on receipt and email us before initiating the return.
Not Eligible
- Knives that have been used, sharpened, or modified.
- Custom-order or personalised knives (engraved handles, bespoke handle materials).
- Returns initiated after the 14-day window (except warranty claims).
How to Initiate a Return
- Email info@muusknife.com with your order number and reason. We reply within 1 business day.
- We send you a return confirmation with packaging instructions and our return address in Russia.
- Pack the knife in its original sheath, wrapped securely. Include your name and order number on a slip of paper inside.
- Ship with tracking. We recommend EMS, DHL, or FedEx for international parcels.
- Email us the tracking number once shipped.
- Refund is processed within 5 business days of us receiving and inspecting the knife.
Return Shipping Costs
Change-of-mind returns: the buyer pays return shipping. International shipping from USA to Russia typically costs $35–$60 via EMS.
Damaged or defective on arrival: we cover return shipping. Send us your shipping quote and we will reimburse it alongside the refund.
Customs and Duties on Returns
When returning a knife to Russia, you are shipping it as a private export. In most cases no export declaration is required from the USA for items valued under $2,500. Declare contents accurately: “stainless steel / carbon steel knife, used, returning to seller”.
Refund
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of receipt, plus your bank’s settlement time (typically 3–5 business days).
