We want buying a knife to be simple and safe. Here is how payment works at MUUS.
Price and currency
The price of your order and the amount you pay are in Kazakhstani tenge (KZT). Prices on the site are shown in US dollars with an approximate amount in tenge at the National Bank of Kazakhstan rate.
How to pay
- Place your order on the site. No payment is taken at checkout.
- Our manager contacts you and emails a secure payment link. The link states the exact amount in tenge, calculated at the National Bank of Kazakhstan rate on the day the link is issued. It may differ from the approximate tenge amount you saw when ordering; the US dollar price of your order does not change.
- Pay by bank card (Visa, Mastercard) on the secure payment page of our acquiring bank. The contract is concluded for that amount at the moment you pay.
- We confirm the payment by email and prepare your knife for shipping.
Card security
Card details are entered on the bank’s secure, PCI DSS compliant payment page. MUUS never sees or stores your card information. Your bank may ask for 3-D Secure confirmation — a one-time code by SMS or in your banking app.
Currency conversion
If your card is not in tenge, your bank converts the amount and may add its own conversion fee — that fee is set by your bank, not by us.
Refunds
Refunds are made in tenge, in the amount actually charged, to the card you paid with. See our Returns page.
Shipping and taxes
Worldwide shipping is a flat fee per order, shown on our Shipping page and at checkout. Any import duties or taxes in your country are paid by the recipient.
