This Yakut knife is made for household tasks and for use outdoors, at the water and on the hunt. It handles food, fish and meat, woodwork and the everyday jobs that come up around a camp. The blade is 40Kh13 stainless steel — corrosion-resistant, strong and undemanding in care. The 130 mm handle is Karelian birch, whose natural texture makes every knife look a little different, and the mountain ram horn bolster underlines its Northern character. Along with the leather sheath the knife comes with a fire steel, useful for lighting a fire on the trail, at the water or on a hunt.
