The Batyya is a traditional Yakut blade — part large knife, part short spear — historically used for butchering meat and fish and for work in the taiga. This Signature Series edition is hand-forged by a master smith of the Sakha Republic.

Wipe the blade dry after each use. Store the knife in its sheath in a dry place. Periodically oil the blade to prevent corrosion. The wooden handle can be treated with linseed oil.
